Determination

“When obstacles arise, you change your direction to reach your goal, you do not change your decision to get there.”– Zig Ziglar

What is determination?

Determination is something which helps one to reach the pinnacle of success with their vision and hard work. No individual was born perfect and hence some little miseries and worries are frequent visitors every now and then. One should not run away but face their fears because they say, “darr k aage jeet hai..!!.”The individual who stands out to his problems is the one who will be able to achieve what he wants.

People who are strong and show self-discipline and also have determination are the ones who will succeed in the future. This is not because they do not have problems in their lives but because they have the ability to overcome the problems they are facing. This is one powerful attribute every individual should develop.

What we should understand?

Success is elusive. It comes with determination and hard-work. It’s something which doesn’t come on the first step. So, if we don’t succeed in the beginning, we always have two options- either to move on or to give up. Giving up is easy and taking a new path on a backup plan is nice. But not giving up at an early stage is even better. One should know when to keep trying and when to back off. It’s a very thin line between the two. Giving up every time is something develops a habit of running away from difficult situations

If we want to achieve what we have been dreaming for, we need to understand that failure is a part and parcel of everyone’s life and we should understand what it is trying to teach us. One should use self-determination to continuously grow and staying strong for the challenges one may face.

However, only determination will not lead to success. Self-confidence is equally important.

“The most essential factor is persistence – the determination never to allow your energy or enthusiasm to be dampened by the discouragement that must inevitably come.”– James Whitcomb Riley
