Feeling Low…?

Everyone has those terrible experiences in life. It’s on us how we react to it. There are times when one might feel low, but it’s like how we tackle such situations. One might feel that the beautiful and mesmerising world has just come crashing down, feeling just helpless and hopeless. But its then one has to realise that it is not the end of the world. One might feel low because of some failure in life or maybe because of some relationship issues or any other thing.

Everyone has their own ways of coping with distress. One must realise is that the road to healing is only one step ahead of the time when you feel nothing great is going to happen.

Here are some tips one should follow when they feel low because they work. My friends and I have followed these too on our weak moments.

  • Don’t always blame yourself

It’s very easy to blame yourself even for the things which are beyond human control. Be kind to yourself. Self-harm is the worst destruction.

  • Learn from your failure

There is a lesson to be learned from every time you have failed. Don’t let failure pull you down but make sure the lessons are well understood so that you can rise from where you originally were.

  • Eat healthy

People have a habit of dealing with stressful situations by either over-eating or not eating at all. But a key to a healthy mind is through a healthy body. So eat well and be well!

  • Surround yourself with the people who love you

To be alone and to sulk in private is a natural reaction. But its better to surround yourself with positive people who love you because they will make your that all the negativity shall surely fade away.

  • Write it down

If you feel that something did not go the way it should have been, write everything down and then analyse what did go wrong and don’t be afraid to start over.

These are some of the very basic things which can help one to make sure that they are going on the right track despite of the ups and downs in life.
